Granada
- Visits: To visit the Alhambra Palace including the Alcazaba, the Nasrid Palaces, the Generalifa, the Mosque baths and gardens, call the following numbers:  From Spain: 902 22 44 60, from outside Spain: +34 91 537 91 78.  I recommend you to book months or weeks in advance to get your tickets to get availability.  It is very easy to do, they will ask your credit card for the payment and give you your reservation code to be given at the entrance of the Alhambra.  The ticket cost about € 10 per person.

- Recommendation: When you finish the visit and go down to the city for a nice walk in the pretty Granada, if you decide to see the old part of Granada in the small streets where there is no restaurants or shops called "Barrio de Albaycín" just on the other side of the small river, be very careful as many people told me they have been stopped by some thieves.  Even people living in Granada and the police men avoid entering that part of the city. So if possible, stay in the public areas or hide your expensive items, jollery, credit cards, cash money and be ready to give them some small cash money if they attack you so they leave you in peace.

- Directions: When you go from Malaga to Granada and the Sierra Nevada signs, DO NOT enter in the centre of Granada city and if you do, park your car in a public underground parking and take a taxi to the gardens. It is very hard to get to the Alhambra from the centre of the city even if you have very good sense of orientation.  The best is, before you arrive to Granada centre, follow the signs to the Alhambra Palace / Sierra Nevada which is on the write hand side of the city.  You will be going around the city up to the hill and arrive in the Alhambra Palace visitor car park by following the signs.
